Grants for Energy Efficiency & Fossil Fuel Emission Reduction Technology (BLADE)

As part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the Department of Energy (DOE) will invest $3.2 billion via Energy Efficiency Block Grants. These funds are to assist Eligible Entities to implement strategies to: 1) reduce fossil fuel emissions; 2) reduce total energy use; and 3) improve energy efficiency in all sectors.

This is your opportunity to:

  • Green your fleet and lower its carbon footprint by reducing emissions of CO2.
  • Improve health in your community by reducing emissions of toxic exhaust particulates.
  • Conserve energy by reducing your fleet's consumption of fossil fuel.
  • Make your community a national environmental leader by pioneering innovative environmental technologies.
  • Ensure that your community benefits from Federal Stimulus Money!

Sabertec's BLADE technology attaches to the tailpipes of cars, SUV's, light-duty trucks and hybrids. BLADE decreases emissions of CO2, decreases emissions of toxic exhaust particulates, and improves fuel efficiency.

What do you need to do?

If you have a fleet of gasoline vehicles, then you're already on your way to becoming greener and more energy efficient! Here's what you need to do:

  1. Partner with Sabertec and elect to implement BLADE technology throughout your fleet.
  2. Work with Sabertec to include BLADE in your Application for Formula Grant Funding.
  3. Allow Sabertec assist you to easily meet your DOE Reporting & Accountability Requirements.

What's the catch?

Other than improving energy efficiency, and improving environmental and human health conditions in your community, and having the federal government pay for you to do it, there is none. The Challenge: the deadline for all cities, counties and Indian tribes to submit Applications for Grant Funding is June 25, 2009. State Applications for Grant Funding are due on May 26, 2009. So there's no time to waste! Don't get left behind. Green your fleet, conserve energy, and clean your community courtesy of the U.S. Government!

What is your first step?
