Letter of referral Your letter of referral must be from a faculty member or an academic adviser. Webcast The webcast, or brief video message, is the most crucial component of your application and also the most fun. This is your opportunity to let your creative talents, and unique genius shine through an original, persuasive, buzzworthy video broadcast about the global climate crisis AND an affordable, convenient solution. We want people to get excited about BLADE, talk about it with their friends and family and use it to reduce their personal impact on the environment. Learn as much as you can about vehicle emissions and global warming. Read everything about BLADE on BladeYourRide.com. You will learn that BLADE has three distinct benefits. Be sure to communicate each of these three benefits in your webcast.
Your webcast will help us spread the word about BLADE if it is educational, empowering and compelling. Give your audience the knowledge they need to share your passion about this issue and BLADE as a solution. Empower them to do their part by disproving the belief that this problem is unstoppable, or that individual actions won’t make a difference. Most importantly, make it exciting, engaging and fun to watch so people will want to share it with others. Webcast length should be a minimum of 60 seconds, but not more than 2 minutes. Your webcast must be submitted in either AVI or MOV format and cannot exceed 100MB in size.
