Awards and Selection Process

This is our second year for awarding scholarships. We will be selecting three $3,000 scholarship winners. Three scholarships of $3,000 and one scholarship of $6,000 will be awarded. Award recipients of the three $3,000 scholarships will be chosen by Sabertec and will be based on the following criteria:

• * Eligibility
• * Correct completion of the application process (be sure to read directions carefully and follow them correctly)
• * Originality, creativity and effectiveness of the webcast

The three webcasts will be eligible to compete for the $6,000 scholarship. The $6,000 award recipient will be chosen by your friends, family, faculty and general public and will be based on the following criteria:

The three $3,000 award recipients will be notified via e-mail on September 15, 2009. During the 15 days following the award notification, each of the three webcasts will be featured on BladeYourRide.com, MySpace.com/BladeYourRide, Blade Your Ride’s Facebook Page and Blade Your Ride’s YouTube Channel. At this time, your friends, family, faculty and the general public will be invited to watch each of the webcasts and vote for their favorite. The webcast with the most votes by November 15, 2009 will be granted an additional $6,000 scholarship for a complete scholarship award of $9,000.

This selection process will allow your creative, impactful videos to reach and affect many people.
