Awards & Selection Process
We have one winner from our Fall 2007 scholarship round. This is our second round for awarding scholarships and we will be selecting three additional $5,000 scholarship winners.
Three scholarships of $5,000 and one scholarship of $10,000 will be awarded.
Award recipients of the three $5,000 scholarships will be chosen by Sabertec and will be based on the following criteria:
- Eligibility
- Correct completion of the application process (be sure to read directions carefully and follow them correctly)
- Originality, creativity and effectiveness of the webcast
The four webcasts will be eligible to compete for the $10,000 scholarship. The award recipient of the $10,000 scholarship will be one of the three $5,000 Spring 2008 winners or the Fall 2007 winner. The $10,000 award recipient will be chosen by your friends, family, faculty and general public and will be based on the following criteria:
- Originality, creativity and effectiveness of the webcast
The three $5,000 award recipients will be notified via e-mail on August 1, 2008. During the 15 days following the award notification, each of the four webcasts will be featured on BladeYourRide.com. At this time, your friends, family, faculty and the general public will be invited to watch each of the webcasts and vote for their favorite. The webcast with the most votes by August 15, 2008 will be granted an additional $10,000 scholarship for a complete scholarship award of $15,000.
This selection process will allow your creative, impactful videos to reach and affect many people.
